It has been one hot week! Over 100 every single day! My garden and patio plants are really suffering, despite being watered every evening. We are on "voluntary" restrictions on water use, so I didn't water tonight. I'm afraid to look at my little garden tomorrow.
School supply shopping tonight.
Jack went to bed at 11. He's golfing in the morning.

Wednesday. Jack golfed. He's home now, watering the foundations. It looks like rain. Work was slow, but that's good 'cos I'm pretty caught up on all my stuff.
The Santa Claus on the square is still on it's side. It's been that way for over a month now. Wonder how much longer he'll be down.
No mail today. Got my notice of refund yesterday, so maybe tomorrow.
Took the trash out at the apt this morning. I mailed my notice of moving to the old landlord, and faxed a notice over to housing. Sure will be glad when I never have to go back over there again.
Going to try to finish that all up this weekend.

Pretty ok day. Jack went golfing this afternoon. I fixed Ragu for dinner. Gator is having a velcro moment. He doesn't want to get more than 10 foot from me. Dani is up in her room reading, she's waiting for Ben. He's going to Canada with his sister tomorrow.
At the moment, Jack and Dean are watching the game upstairs. I'm perfectly happy sitting here, having a cold beer, and sharing thoughts. Gator's getting ready for a shower, and Porkchop is following him around like a little dog.
I've watered my garden, no tomatoes to pick today, but lots of green ones ready to ripen. I gave away all but 3 of the tomatoes today. We had so many we were beginning to get gnats! You can only eat so many at a time, and I harvested 12 yesterday! I found a salsa receipe today, so I'm going to make a few jars when the next ones ripen.
Work was quiet, two installs, and both should have paid by the end of the day. Boss made me leave early, it was so quiet. No argument from me on that one. I'll never argue about leaving early!
Gator's birthday party this weekend!
Jack and Joan and David will be golfing Saturday, and that's good. She'll probably come up Thursday, which is he day after tomorrow.
Weather has finally cooled off a little. High 80s and I can live with that. We sure could use some rain, though.
